Imagery analysis
Imagery analysis is the study of images originating from CCTV systems, video cameras, photographs, infra-red systems cameras, cine, DVD's, aerial photographs and in some cases satellite cameras to provide a detailed Imagery Analysis Report (IAR).
Types of Imagery Analysis Report:
- Facial and body mapping Report. Imagery analysis is the study of images originating from CCTV systems, video cameras, photographs, infra-red systems cameras, cine, DVD's, aerial photographs and in some cases satellite cameras to provide a detailed Imagery Analysis Report (IAR).
- Clothing Analysis. This can be used in conjunction with the above or stand alone. We analyse clothing and compare it with the CCTV to ascertain whether there are similarities.
- Vehicle Analysis. Can be used with the above or stand alone. Very often there is a dispute as to the VRN or the make and model of the vehicle. We can organise reconstructions to compare with the imagery and confirm or deny the identification.
-
Vehicle Speed Assessment. We have been very successful in calculating speeds from mobile phones and CCTV. In the past year we have assisted in two such scenarios and were able to greatly assist the Court.
- Technical Report. We have the skills to analyse video recorders, tape, DVD and audio recordings to determine whether there is evidence of foul play.
